I feel the need to talk most some boom smoothen today, so let'due south talk almost this cute collection, Essie Resort 2016.
If you knew me a couple of years ago, you probably would take known about my ridiculous polish addiction. Like, the addiction was real. I had a shelf covered with hundreds — yes, hundreds — of bottles.
I've since downsized to my current boom polish collection, but those were the days… I would paint my nails a different color almost every day of the calendar week, not even kidding. I even got really good at pattern, only alas, babies came and time got short, and slumber became more important.
I am so, and then aback to admit that I've only painted my nails maybe once over the terminal six months (!). That is just ree-dic and so unlike me, so when my best friend texted me the other day to go go my nails done with her, I jumped at the take chances.
I also did something actually different — I got acrylics! — and had them practise the almond shape. I've always admired almond shaped nails but never idea to try them myself. Turns out, I LOVE them! There'southward just something and then feminine about long nails, although I am having the hardest time typing this mail service. You win some, you lose some, I guess.
In award of my new nails, I'm wearing the new Essie Resort Collection for 2016.
All of these colors are so upward my alley. I've never, always been ane to shy abroad from bright colors. In fact, they're what I gravitate toward, and these are gorgeous! And actually pretty unique!
Normally when I get new boom smooth colors the ones I decide to go aren't besides special compared to the polishes I already accept, but some of these are unique and unlike anything I own.
These all have a cream finish, pregnant that in that location'due south no shimmer in them, which makes them even more perfect for summertime, and they're available now for $8.50 apiece.

Going Guru
Going Guru is one of those unique shades I was talking nigh. There are plenty of minty greens out there, but this isn't one of them. Information technology's more than of a pastel light-green, more yellow-y than bluish, and I Honey it. It's super fresh and different, but the formula is a little iffy on this one. It's pretty sheer and takes at least 3 coats for an opaque terminate, but it's nothing that can't be worked around.
Taj-Ma-Haul
Unique shade #2 here — Taj-Ma-Haul is a really cool muted terracotta orange. It's something and so different and would look amazing on anyone. It's vivid and fun without being too crazy, ya know? The formula's also bang-up. Ii coats and y'all are covered.
Dehli Dance
Dehli Dance is a creamy bubblegum pink. Sometimes I encounter bluish undertones in it, simply other times I almost run into a bit of coral. I think this i would await amazing on toes with a cute pair of sandals! The formula is standard every bit well. It just takes two coats!
Nama-Stay The Night
Okay, I love this one then much! Nama-Stay The Night is just so amazing. It reminds me of Popsicles for some reason… Who knows why. It's the nigh gorgeous mid-toned foam blue, not to mention that it applies opaquely in one swipe. You could totally get away with using one glaze, but I ordinarily utilize two for skillful measure.
